Brian Stauffer is a contributing artist to many publication including The New York Times, TIME Magazine, The New Yorker, The Nation, The Village Voice, Rolling Stone, Esquire, GQ, and over 300 others worldwide, Brian’s illustrations are best known for its conceptual take on social issues. He is also is the recipient of the 2010 Editorial Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators 52 competition.

Video: MOMIX Mesmerizing Illusionist Theater

Move over Mummenschanz, there’s a new kid in town. Well, new to us anyway. I gather we’ve been hiding under a rock because they have been around since 1981 and have never heard of it before. Momix is mesmerizing movement theater. That’s our term for it. Actually it’s a troupe of illusionist dancers who use props, light, shadow, humor and the human body to perform.

The last two videos are very similar to Black Light Theater that is famous in Prague. Out of nine theaters black light theaters the WOW Black Light show is the biggest and the one we have had the privilege of viewing.
