Baby Tattoo Unveils 3 Books at Comic Con

20 Jul

Baby Tattoo is unveiling three stunning art books at Comic-Con this year.

The Art of Sketch Theatre Volume 1

$40 Standard Cover (or $50 Baby Tattoo / Comic-Con Exclusive Cover)

An inspiring collection of sketches, finished work and insightful profiles by over 50 professional artists who have participated in the ongoing project. You may obtain a rare, collectible version of the book at Comic-Con.

*Comic-Con attendees who visit Booth 4712 will have the opportunity to purchase one of only 300 copies of The Art of Sketch Theatre with a special cover featuring art by Nate Frizzell (pictured above). Nate will be stopping by the booth from time to time to autograph copies. In fact, a number of artists will be stopping by the booth to draw for Sketch Theatre or to autograph copies of the book.

Artum Secretum: 13 Years of Hidden Truths

by Gris Grimly: $44

Only 200 Advance Copies will be available at Comic-Con.

Atrum Secretum is the first ever collection of Grimly’s most demented, explicit and insane ideas that he’s kept confined in sketchbooks for the past 13 years.

*The first 100 attendees who purchase Atrum Secretum at Booth 4712 (aka the first fans purchasing the book anywhere in the world) will receive a coupon for a unique original sketch in their copy of the book, redeemable while Gris Grimly is autographing at Booth 4712 on Friday and Saturday at 2:00 PM. The coupon itself is a lovely little collectible, and it will only be available in person at Comic-Con.*

The Art of Big City

by Ragnar: $40

Ragnar’s personal masterwork is back in print at Comic-Con. Filled with vehicles, girls, robots, weapons, type treatments, poster studies and more.

Ragnar fans who were not able to obtain one of the artist’s privately published copies of this book will be pleased to know that Baby Tattoo has just put it back into print and will have pristine copies available at Booth 4712. And Ragnar will be at Comic-Con (Booth 523) to autograph the amazing book*

Visit Baby Tattoo at Booth 4712 at Comic Con in San Diego beginning July 20th through July 24, 2011 and visit Baby Tattoo for all books.
