Bus Love
Simon’s work is inspired by old toys, found objects, and travel, often exploring the connections that can be made between an inspiring location and the imagination.
His work has often been described as ‘psychedelic scribbles’ ‘elaborate telephone doodles’ and ‘childlike expressions’. Simon likes to think of each new illustration he creates as making a new friend for life.
His first illustrated book for children ‘Fantastical Flying Machines’ will be published by Macmillan Children’s Books in 2010.
