It’s going to be a great New Year in 2011, with so many new and exciting things!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
You might not want to sit in this intestine spilling chair, but you surely cannot help but stare at it. It’s the ultimate in morbid design. The chair looks like a perfect prop for a Rob Zombie horror movie. You know, something Dr. Satan (from House of 1000 Corpses) might take pleasure sitting in.
The source of this chair is currently unknown. If you know who designed it, drop us a comment.
A solo exhibition of new paintings and sculptures by Carol Peligian ‘Sosomuch’ opens at DEAN PROJECT Gallery January 6th and runs through February 12, 2011. This is first solo exhibition of this New York based artist with the gallery for which the selected works were made between 2008-2010. All works in this exhibition are a continuation of Peligan’s exploration and interest in the seductive quality of materials such as aluminum, oil, enamel, and latex.
These works confront the viewer with individual experiences of bigger questions related the idea of infinity. Due to their physical quality and delicate construction these works provide the viewers with a space where the surrounding and the self become one in spirit. The understanding of material-form is evident in each of the works.
Barilla, the Italian and European food company wishes you a Happy New Year in their new creative ad.
The pasta fireworks graphic could also be recycled for 4th of July (in the States). What are your thoughts on the design?
