SIGGRAPH 2010, the 37th International Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques, will bring approximately 25,000 computer graphics and interactive technology professionals from six continents to Los Angeles, California, USA for the industry’s most respected technical and creative programs focusing on research, science, art, animation, music, gaming, interactivity, education, and the web from Sunday, July 25 through Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. SIGGRAPH 2010 includes a three-day exhibition of products and services from the computer graphics and interactive marketplace from July 27-29, 2010. More than 200 international exhibiting companies are expected.

Diesel and Fiat joined forces to launch the new car. For the launch they did a guerrilla marketing concept called “Be Stupid” with guest Gunther Love (World Champion Air Guitar) and Nicolas Ulman (king of “IN” night parties in Paris).
They took the concept of a car launch and did it…literally, by crashing a Fiat 500 in the front of the Diesel store in Paris Rue Etienne Marcel. Check out the video. It’s sick!
Every year Madrid hosts one of the largest photography exhibitions in Europe called PHotoEspaña, the International Festival of Photography and Visual Arts of Madrid, a major event that has been going on since 1998, with exhibitions and workshops in dozens of museums and galleries around town.
Upon driving around the art district last night in Miami after the 2012 Art Show, I came across even more fabulous pieces of art, on the streets. This is part one in a three part series on my Miami Street Art finds.

We had the opportunity to attend the opening of the 2012 Art Show last night (June 12th) at Miami Art Space. A nice eclectic mix showed up to this show which explored 12 artists’ interpretation of the year 2012. Included in the group exhibition are artists: Reinier Gamboa; Kiki Valdes; David Tamargo; George Sanchez-Calderon; David Marsh; Brian Gefen; John Sevigny; Raul Perdomo; Alvaro Ilizabe; Eric Torriente; and Oliver Sanchez. Kiki Valdes, the show’s curator said “Everything ties back to the number 12,”.
