Decaying bodies, gas mask art and more of the macabre can be seen in paintings by singer Marilyn Manson at the Kunsthalle Vienna’s upcoming exhibition “Genealogies of Pain”. Joining his work will be David Lynch’s several short films that are meant to provide a sort of aesthetic and historical context for the rocker’s paintings.

John Mattos has earned over 100 awards for graphic excellence from various graphic magazines and design organizations including a Gold Medal from the New York Society of Illustrators, Gold from the New York Art Director’s Club and Silver from the Los Angeles Society of Illustrators. He is based in San Francisco.
