Ericailane is a a visual artist based in Bologna. His work is something reminiscent of animals you might see in children’s books, but a bit more sinister in nature. He draws distinctly anthromorphic creatures you expect to speak at any moment.  He creates a variety of works by painting, drawing, sculpting, making installations and has also produced some expansive murals in Italy and Poland.

IT WOULD BE NICE IF THE MEDIA (INCLUDING THE INTERNET) COULD OCCASIONALLY FOCUS ON THE LESS FASHIONABLE ART STYLES THAT ARE NUMEROUS AND OFTEN WITH GREAT MERIT (THOUGH THE MARKET PLACE DOES NOT RECOGNISE IT)…THERE IS ONE STYLE i.e. GEOMETRIC ART (GEOMETRISM) WHICH DID NOT FINISH WITH CUBISM, THE BAU-HAUS, DE STJL, THE CONSTRUCTIVISTS, THE FUTURISTS OR VORTICISM…MY APOLOGIES TO ANY OTHER GROUP/MOVEMENT THAT I MIGHT OF MISSED…THERE ARE MANY ARTISTS/DESIGNERS THAT WORK TIRELESSLY & WHOSE WORK IS INSPIRED BY MATHS/GEOMETRY…I HAVE DONE MY RESEARCH & THEY EXIST ALL ROUND THE WORLD…IT IS ABOUT TIME THAT THE “ART-PUNDITS” THAT INCLUDES CRITICS, DEALERS, FOUNDATIONS, GOVERNMENT FUNDERS, PUBLISHERS, EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS STARTED TO ACCEPT THAT THERE IS A VAST SUBLIMINAL MOVEMENT OF TRULY UNIQUE INDEPENDENTS WHO ARE NOT MOTIVATED BY MONEY BUT BY “IDEAS” WHERE THE ACT OF CREATION IS REWARD IN ITSELF…IT IS VERY SAD INDEED THAT A COUNTRY DOES NOT TAP INTO THIS GREAT POOL OF TALENT AND FORGET ABOUT ABOUT THE “VESTED INTEREST” OF A VERY SMALL MINORITY…WE COULD HAVE A REVOLUTION AS GREAT AS “THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION” IF THE “BUREAU BUNNIES” WERE CURED OF THEIR MYOPIA AND SEE THAT THE “EMPEROR’S NEW CLOTHES” ARE NOTHING BUT A “GREAT ILLUSION”.

HERE’S LOOKING AT EU-CLID…PETE
