ALEXIS MACKENZIE EXHIBIT AT CHICAGO’S EBERSMOORE
Alexis Mackenzie’s exhibit “All the Colors of the Dark” is currently running at the Ebersmoore in Chicago through May 22, 2010.
Throughout all of Mackenzie’s work, is the idea to portray the world as a flawed thing of beauty – a place that shines brightly, but has a dark side to match. Mackenzie received a BFA from Tufts University / School of the Museum of Fine Arts, 2003, in Boston, MA.

Moeller Fine Art Berlin presents an exhibition of works of art made by George Grosz, Esq., which is currently on view through June 26, 2010.
Between September 1936 and January 1939, Esquire: The Magazine for Men commissioned George Grosz (1893-1959) to create illustrations for articles and short stories. Moeller Fine Art Berlin exhibits 50 of these rare and never-before-seen drawings alongside the accompanying stories, highlighting a vital, though little-known aspect of the artist’s oeuvre. Roy Lichtenstein’s “Still Lifes’ is the first show that is solely dedicated to his still life paintings, sculptures and drawings, which span from 1972 to the early 80’s, will be running from May 8 – June 3, 2010 at the Gagosian Gallery in New York City.
