Adorable French animated short titled ‘Oktapodi’, which was nominated for an Oscar in 2009. Two octopuses help each other in their comical escape from the grasps of a stubborn restaurant cook. However, even after overcoming insurmountable odds to reunite, their fight to stay together is not over.

Currently on exhibit through June 12, 2010 is the Le Iconique: Terribly Odd Solo Show at the Bear and Bird Boutique and Gallery in South Florida. It is a collection of works paying tribute to iconic french figures leading up to a period in European social history known as Belle Époque or the “Beautiful Era.” [...]

Sandro Castelli was born in 1973 in São Paulo, Brazil, where he still lives and works as a freelance illustrator. Though mostly self-taught, he graduated from a comic book/illustration oriented art school. Sandro has a wide variety of work that includes, fantasy, horror and even cartoons and infographics.
