Packaging Design: Thinking Out of the ‘Box’ With Boxed Spices

Boxed spices designed by Geneviève Côté are adorable! No more shattered glass when your beloved spices decide to roll out of your pantry and crash to the floor. Also those clear containers do nothing for the spice preservation. The only foreseeable problem is if it gets wet.  Then your spice and package is pretty much screwed.

There were many specifics in this design. The spices should not be exposed to light and therefore they must have opaque packaging. Secondly, the fact that spices are often poorly identified and badly presented, there is a problem of identification but also recovery to be solved.

With a highly graphic style, Côté came up with the solution.
